Have you ever stood in the middle of a storm wondering what in the world God was doing? Maybe the doctor's report wasn't what you wanted to hear. Maybe the job fell through. Maybe your child wandered away from the faith. Maybe your spouse walked out on you. And there you are - standing in the rain, asking "Why, Lord?"

Friend, I want to remind you of something powerful: just because you don't understand what God is doing doesn't mean He isn't working.

When Joseph was thrown into a pit by his brothers and sold into slavery, do you think he saw the big picture? When he sat in a prison cell for a crime he didn't commit, do you think he understood how any of that could possibly be part of God's plan? Of course not! Yet years later, he stood before his brothers as second-in-command of Egypt and said, "You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good" (Genesis 50:20).

That's the kind of faith we need today - a faith that trusts God even when the story doesn't make sense. Because here's the truth: faith isn't built when the seas are calm. Faith is forged in the storm.

The Apostle Paul didn't write his most encouraging words from a mountain cabin with a cup of fresh roasted coffee in hand. He wrote them from a dark dank prison cell - "I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content" (Philippians 4:11). Paul understood that peace isn't the absence of problems - it's the presence of Christ.

So, when you can't see what God is doing, remember this: you don't need to see the plan to trust the Planner. He sees the beginning, the middle, and the end. You see only a single puzzle piece - but God sees the completed picture.

Whatever you're facing today, don't quit. Don't lose heart. Don't stop trusting. God specializes in turning pain into purpose and chaos into clarity. One day you'll look back and see that what you thought was breaking you was actually building you.

Until then, walk by faith - not by sight.
